WE WANT MORE FROM ELECTED OFFICIALS

Student Testimonials

"It is important to fund athletic and arts programs.  They serve as outlets for students and help us learn in other academic areas.  But they are not given the same consideration.  Teachers are coming out of their own pocket to fund our theater, music, dance and arts programs.  I was so disappointed when our marching band got cut. This is our education, the adults and Elected officials need to consult students when making these big decisions!

"Not only are there serious saftey issues at my school, but there are health issues as well.  We need greater accessibility to bathrooms. Clean and sanitary bathrooms stocked with feminine products.  This isn't too much to ask.

We need to be heard."

"I believe it’s important to find ways of teaching that interest the youth.  Schools need to engage in less punishment and more reflecting, explaining, and conflict resolution.  This will help students understand their actions and situations they are in. Lastly and more importantly building community within the classroom and throughout the school creating relationships that endure beyond the school walls and tenure of a students academic experience."
